About Us
Deorum Studios CIC is a creative organisation that was founded by artist and creative director Hunter Deorum, originally as a university project with a simple yet powerful vision: to create art that carries meaning and sparks real-world change. From the very beginning, Hunter’s creative practice was focused on using art as a way to open conversations about urgent issues, including suicide prevention, mental health awareness, environmental sustainability, and social responsibility.

What began as a personal journey in visual storytelling has since developed into a thriving creative studio. Today, Deorum Studios specialises in art commissions, exhibitions, event curation, and community-driven projects that combine creativity with a sense of purpose. Unlike studios that focus purely on aesthetics, we are committed to producing work that not only looks good but also challenges audiences to reflect on the issues that matter in society.

Beyond the gallery space, Hunter has consistently sought to use his creative practice to support other charities and community organisations. He has worked alongside the Good Shepherd Charity, SUIT Men’s Mental Health, and the Children’s Hospice in Cambridge, contributing artwork, curating projects, and donating pieces to raise funds and awareness for vital causes. Today, through Deorum Studios, Hunter is more committed than ever to using art as a force for good, building partnerships with charities, nurturing emerging artists, and creating work that inspires people to think, feel, and act on the issues that matter most.
Our Missions
At Deorum Studios, we’ve always believed that art is more than something to look at, it’s a way to make people feel, think, and act. Through a multitude of different mediums, we use storytelling to shine a light on important issues like mental health, social justice, and environmental responsibility. Our work is about connecting with people on a deeper level, creating moments that encourage reflection and inspire positive change. For us, creativity is not just about making something beautiful, it’s about making something that matters.

Everything we create is rooted in authenticity and purpose. We’re not interested in surface-level design; every commission, whether for a client, a charity, or one of our own campaigns, is approached with care and intention. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with incredible organisations such as The Good Shepherd Charity, SUIT Men’s Mental Health, and The Children’s Hospice in Cambridge. These partnerships remind us why we do what we do: to use art as a way of amplifying voices, supporting wellbeing, and bringing communities together.

Just as important as the art itself are the spaces we create around it. From exhibitions and community events to creative workshops and showcases, we want to make art accessible to everyone. These events are designed to celebrate diversity, encourage open conversations about mental health, and give people a sense of belonging. We’ve seen first-hand how the arts can help people heal, connect, and grow, and that’s why it will always remain at the heart of our mission. At Deorum Studios, our goal is simple: to use creativity as a force for good, here in the Black Country and beyond.

This philosophy underpins the foundation of Deorum Studios itself, art that is purposeful, inclusive, and rooted in community.
